Happy Birthday to a Friend

Pocky in hand, she leaves Sue B. in the later evening
Bound for a library where she'll study all night through
I watch her go while I stave off another yawn and
Then I have to brush my teeth for bed

The feeling that we would be closer friends now
If only our sleep cycles were synched up
I'm glad whenever our paths cross on campus, we're very busy girls

Slipping through my fingers all the time
I'll try to capture every minute, the feeling in it
Slipping through my fingers all the time
Do I really know what's passed me by?
Each time I leave her without showing my love, unknowing
She's slipping through my fingers all the time.

Half way through school, she and I both agree that we are
Unsatisfied with the friendships we have made
Then when she's gone I don't commit to investing in ours
And I sense my love is limited

What happened to those wonderful friendships?
The ones we once dreamed that we would find
Some aspects we did have, but most we didn't
And why, I think I know

Slipping through my fingers all the time
I'll try to capture every minute, the feeling in it
Slipping through my fingers all the time
Do I really know what's passed me by?
Each time I leave her without showing my love, unknowing
She's slipping through my fingers all the time.

Sometimes I wish that I could grow devotion
And live it out effortlessly toward her

Slipping through my fingers

Pocky in hand she leaves Burton in the later evening
And I run outside to join her for a while

The Uninvited Tenent Song

He's climbin' in your air ducts
He's munching your cereal
Tryna find a home so y'all should
Evict the mice from your dorm
Evict the mice from your dorm
Evict the mice from your dorm
And hide your cereal
All the way on the top shelf

You don't have to come scurry through
We've had it with you
You've been evicted
You've been evicted

So you can run and tell that, run and tell that, run and tell that
To your home-mice, home-home-mice

We found your droppings
You've left them here like gifts
You are so gross
You are really gross - for real

So gross so gross so gross so gross
He's climbin' in your air ducts
He's munching your cereal
Tryna find a home so y'all should
Evict the mice from your dorm
Evict the mice from your dorm
Evict the mice from your dorm
And hide your cereal
All the way on the top shelf

You don't have to come scurry through
We've had it with you
You've been evicted
You've been evicted

So you can run and tell that, run and tell that, run and tell that
To your home-mice, home-home-mice

Disclaimer: they're not this cute.
