God, Who Fulfills His Purpose in Me

I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.

Psalm 57:2

This is also translated as, "God, who fulfills His purpose in me."
The ways that I have been praying for God to work in and through my life have not been the ways that He has been working in and through me. Nevertheless, He has been fulfilling His purpose in me. And it has been surprising to see the ways in which He wants to use me and to show Himself through me. I have begun to see His hand in the little things of my day, such as keeping me in work fifteen minutes late so I could run into a Christian sister on my walk home.
